I am fascinated by the physical manifestation of a psyche in turmoil, and the relationship between our inner and outer worlds. My work involves a deeply personal psychological scrutiny as I navigate the complexities of human experience.

The news cycle is simultaneously addictive, and yet repellent and disturbing. I feel compelled not to ignore the reports of geopolitical instability, economic crises and ecosystems on the brink of collapse that fill our airwaves and screens in a discordant, horrifying cacophony. As an artist I am constantly torn between drawing attention to these realities, or providing a distraction away from them.
