I paint because it takes me to another place. This place is important to me. I lose track of time, it's pure flow and it's place I have always loved to be.

This work was created for The Ballarat Wall Art Trail. It will become a large paste up on Unicorn Lane, just off Sturt. I painted it in response to 'What do you love about Ballarat'. I love being a mother in Ballarat, raising a family here is easy. I also love being an artist and educator and the beautiful nature that surrounds me in my home studio in Mount Helen.
