To mark 25 years of supporting emerging artists, BAF launched a brand-new podcast series, 25 Years, 25 Artists. The series highlights the journeys of 25 exceptional alumni who have benefited from BAF’s support, showcasing their careers, creative growth, and the impact of the foundation’s funding and mentorship.

Hosted by Ballarat voice actress, presenter, and BAF alumna Tabitha Rickard, this weekly podcast drops every Wednesday and features a different artist from each year of BAF’s history. Through candid conversations, listeners will hear firsthand how BAF has shaped careers across diverse artistic disciplines, from visual arts and theatre to music, film, and literature.

Some of the very early alumni to be featured in this series of podcasts include world renowned saxophonist and musician Joshua Hyde, singer and performer Kara Ciezki and Hollywood based actor Aaron Glenane. Fast forward to more recent recipients and we will hear from award winning Director Ben Joseph Andrews and musician and inventor Zlatko Balazic!
