International Opera stars Cheryl Barker AO and Peter Coleman-Wright AO are delighted to perform with Wendy Rechenberg in a concert of Love, Lust and Heartache as they generously support the Ballarat Arts Foundation. All funds raised go to support artists in the Ballarat region.

International opera singers, Cheryl Barker AO and Peter Coleman-Wright AO will delight with their selection of pieces of love, lust and heartache. Supported by the talented Wendy Rechenberg, this is a show not to be missed.

Cheryl and Peter are well recognised on the stages of the greatest opera houses including The Metropolitan New York, The Royal Opera House, and Covent Garden amongst others.

Piers Lane performs in Clunes

Chopin & Champers by Candlelight -

Piers Lane is a UK based Australian pianist who stands out as an engaging and highly versatile performer. He is a five time soloist at the Proms and his extensive concerto repertoire has led to engagements with many of the world’s great orchestras including all the BBC and ABC orchestras. 

Piers will delight audiences with an extraordinary feast of talent as he performs for the Ballarat Arts Foundation and Plate Up Ballarat at St Paul’s Anglican Church Clunes, a significant historic building built in 1871 and a beautiful backdrop to this enchanting performance.

If you can’t attend or you simply want to give back to the artists and musicians of Ballarat, consider purchasing a sponsored ticket, and we will coordinate these to be issued to music students, artists and others who would directly benefit from attending Piers’ performance.

In this series of new and recent works, LAND celebrates the changing seasons, the subtle tones of response from the landscape to the loss of water, or the chilling cold. These colours are ones a farmer would recognise, noting the time to plant or harvest or appreciating that it's time to protect from fire. They also reveal a deep love and respect.

LAND is a collection of works that are simultaneously beautiful as well as thought provoking.
