Hi Paula,

I live in Warrnambool these days.

I have been involved many and varied community projects over recent years. You can have a look at my video of "Foodshare", created for a worthy not-for-profit organisation that distributes foodstuffs to the disadvantaged here ("Show more" X 2; its the third last in many videos on my K-Lab page)

Keep up the good work and keep me informed of your activities.

Regards,
Karl Schenk

ESCAPE
Mercure 1st Oct-11th Nov (Opening Wednesday October 3rd at 6pm, all welcome)

Escape is the first solo exhibition of oil paintings by Ballarat based artist Abbie Matthews.
She discovered oil paint at a young age and has been captivated by exploring shape, colour, texture, light and space through painting. Circles and fractured landscapes make up her recent series of paintings.

“Each night, after I put my two daughters to bed, I paint. It takes me to another place within myself, I travel through painting and I find that it’s the most healthy and settling part of my day. Recently I was asked about the paintings and I explained that “they’re my time to focus, relax and escape” and this is how the name of the exhibition came about."
