Paige has been performing professionally for 15 years from the time she started writing her own songs for voice and guitar. She has been performing and singing in festivals and venues across the region since her early days of song-writing.

Paige’s professional music experience has been extensive: Performing as a solo artist with her originals, jazz standards and ‘interpretation of contemporary’ songs as well as a vocalist in jazz and blues groups; the front woman of former originals funk band ‘Paige Five’; feature vocalist on hip-hop tracks with local and nationally recognised MCs; as well as various choirs and specialist choral groups. Paige’s personal style channels the females jazz greats, has soulful undertones and the essence contemporary folk ballads. Paige’s own personal vocal strengths include improvisation which she utilises in her main musical passion: jazz.
She is available for hire to perform; facilitating song-writing and singing workshops; and private singing tuition. Paige has independently released an album of original songs titled ‘The Cellante Recordings’ and is currently recording an album of jazz standards.

A visual artist specialising in ceramics. Claire used her award to assist in exhibiting her work at the 2001 Sydney Teapot Show and at the Victorian Ceramic Group’s Pat Emery Award exhibition.

2002 BAF Award

Bio presented at time of Award:

Now undertaking an honours degree in ceramics at the Arts Academy (University of Ballarat) in Camp Street, Claire will use her second award to exhibit tea pots - again by invitation - at the 2002 Sydney Tea Pot Show.
