FOSTERING ART

BAF has proudly supported Child & Family Services Ballarat (CAFS) with their first two Exhibitions in the biennial series"Fostering Art".

The exhibition has a two-fold purpose - to nurture the talents of young artists, and to assist CAFS Carer Recruitment, Assessment and Training Unit which places young and vulnerable children with trained and accredited foster care families.

The Exhibition features artwork created by children and young people who are in Foster Care placements or the Carers' own children.

ASPIRATIONS

The Aspirations Exhibition in the Clark Gallery at the Gold Museum was designed to showcase the work of visual and performing artists who have received awards or been supported by the Foundation in its first decade.

With an accompanying documentary, the exhibition ran from the 10th of November 2010 until the 1st of May 2011.

The event was proudly sponsored by the Arts Academy and University of Ballarat, together with the Gold Museum and Arts Victoria.
