Each year the Ballarat Arts Foundation (BAF) offers two rounds of GENERAL Grant-Awards:
Round 1 March 1-31; Round 2 September 1-30.
In keeping with our mission statement, Grants are offered to emerging artists to enable them to undertake a project that would assist them in taking the next step in their chosen field of artistic endeavour.
In addition to the GENERAL Grant-Awards there are additional, more specific, OCCASIONAL or NAMED Grant-Awards. These have been sponsored or donated by groups, organisations or individuals to further the aims of the Foundation. They are awarded at the discretion of the Grants Panel. In some instances, potential recipients may be invited to audition or submit working folios.
